W&LLR 2012 Season Gets Under Way!!!
The Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway 2012 running season started yesterday on the 31st March and steam once again returned to Welshpool Raven Square and the sound of a Great Western Whistle echoing across Welshpool was a pure delight to the ears to me and of course any enthusiast. The Earl was in steam and was running the trains between Llanfair and Welshpool during the day.

The pictures to the left show the Earl running round its train at Welshpool and then a picture showing the fireman receiving a green flag from the guard for the 17:05 departure from Welshpool.

Pictures were taken with my NEW Digital Camera which seems to deliver better quality pictures!!!
